About the song
Dale lo que lleva brings two Maykels together: Maykel Blanco, leader of Salsa Mayor, and the dancer and choreographer Maykel Fonts. Salsa Mayor broke through in 2005 with its first album Recoge y vete; in Cuba the band is also known as "La Máquina de Cuba". Fonts grew up in a solar in Old Havana, graduated from the Tropicana dance school and now lives in Milan. He calls rumba the genre closest to him.
